The Barrie Foundation is a charitable and educational foundation. It is a private, permanently established institution, with full legal status and full legal capacity to act with complete autonomy. The foundation operates in accordance with the wishes of its founder, Pedro Barrié, as expressed directly and indirectly in the foundation’s bylaws, its constitution and its testamentary dispositions; as well as in the decisions that are made within their spheres of competence by the foundation’s founder and governing body, and in the provisions which, in accordance with and execution of those aforementioned wishes, they may establish, within their vested authority.
