#FOCUS ON FOUNDATIONS AMONG FUTURE GENERATIONS. HOW TO COMMUNICATE WITH FUTURE GENERATIONS?
We all know that Youth = Future, and that communicating with future generations is becoming increasingly complex.
The Barrié Foundation invited three high-schools to visit the foundation over the course of a morning and to see, up close and in detail, what a foundation is, what it does and what its goals are. The students became familiar with the different areas of activity (Education, Social Action, Science, and Heritage and Culture). Later they visited the center, including staff and executive offices, where they were received by the president of the Barrié Foundation. With this initiative our aim is for students to become familiar with the foundation from within and on a first-hand basis. Each school was assigned a subject to work on in the classroom:
Subject 1
What is your perception of foundations?
Subject 2
What do you expect from foundations?
Subject 3
How would you like foundations to communicate with you?
Over the course of the 1st International Seminar on Communication and Philanthropy, representatives from each school will present their findings in formats that they choose by themselves (verbal presentations, videos, sketches, etc.)
The goal is to allow young people to express themselves. We want them to learn, but we also want to learn from them, so as to guarantee productive communication in the future.
